Eight teams made up of Lexington, Ky architects, engineers, contractors, designers, and students attending schools of architecture, engineering, and design will design and create structures made entirely from canned foods. Teams will create their design within a 10′ by 10′ space.  All canned foods will be donated to God’s Pantry after three weeks of display. Top winners will go to the International competition.

Triple Crown Cat Fanciers Cat Show

Unveiling the Man O’ War Commemorative Mural

Village Idiot Pub – Short Street Lexington, KY

Dominating the drive through downtown’s busy Short Street, a large form-commissioned mural will be unveiled on Saturday, June 10th to commemorate his win in the 1920 Belmont Stakes. Painted on the side of the Village Idiot Pub building, the mural will feature a racing moment in the great horse’s life. A street party around the mural will be held to commemorate the unveiling. The Lexington Rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) and produced by the Rotary Club of Lexington. It is the only PRCA rodeo in Kentucky and was voted the Best New Rodeo of 2015 by the PRCA cowboys GLC. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
