We sat in on so many incredible sessions with speakers like Katie Lance who spoke about getting Social Media Smart.  Brian Copeland, manager of over 300 agents at Village in Nashville spoke about branding, and eDearment – Engaging your clients in the very best and most effective ways –  Joseph Rand presented a truly innovative approach to goal setting.  Juanita McDowell,  helped us learn more about how social media can help us balance our day to day business strategies.  Other topics were “Executing your Game Plan” balancing business and personal life.  We also learned several ways to enhance the WCR experience for our members through our monthly programs and online resources.”

Brown is not only passionate about her work in the community as a REALTOR, but also fully devoted to her membership as President-Elect in the Lexington chapter of WCR.  “Women’s Council of Realtors is a network of over 11,000 men and women Realtors across the country.  It provides a network of resources geared to enhance every aspect of our real estate sales careers.,” Brown explained.

“What a joy it was to see our Beth Bell Brown receive her PMN, Performance Management Network designation at the Women’s Council of Realtors Legislative Meeting and Expo in Washington, DC this past weekend.  So proud of how Beth always goes the extra mile whether it is for her buyers, sellers, or Rector Hayden Realtors.  Thanks for representing us Beth!”

Vote for Missy: Dancing with the Lexington Stars 2016

The Rotary Club of Lexington presents it’s annual Dancing with the Lexington Stars!  A black tie evening event and an exciting competition which pairs local celebrities with professional dancers in support of two wonderful charities. All proceeds from this event will once again benefit Surgery On Sunday, Inc. & the Lexington Rotary Club Endowment Fund.

As part of the process, Missy Ward was interviewed on why she felt driven to donate her time and charity to this event.  See her interview below!

“I decided to participate in DWLS because I love to dance, although I am very clumsy.  I thought I could build further awareness and raise money for Surgery on Sunday and Rotary.  I love Lexington and the giving heart of this community.”  She jokes, “and I think they ran out of people to ask.”

Missy was a radio personality for 25 years.  She worked as a morning show cohost with country great Karl Shannon and her friend, Kruser.  She was  also the hoost of the  Motorvation Motorcars show for 11 years.  She’s now a top producing agent affiliated with Rector Hayden REALTORS.

To prepare, Missy is scheduling massages and  footbaths between her samba lessons.  She knows the road ahead is a rough one, though.

“Have you seen those outfits?  I won’t be able to eat until May,” Missy joked.

Missy is always joking around and never ceases to put a smile on everyone’s face.  She’s constantly bubbling with sunny energy, and we’re honored that she’ll be participating in such a great event!

If you’d like to support this cause and help donate to Surgery on Sunday – please pair your donation with a vote for Missy Ward!  Votes are ONLY $5 and easy to give via paypall!

TOPSinLex – Real Estate Edition

This Month’s edition of TOPSinLexington was all about Real Estate!  ( Hey, we’re all about that, too!! )

[slider interval=”4500″ controls=”true” pause=”hover” wrap=”true”] [slide title=”” image=”https://news.rhr.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/47/2016/05/rhrspread_maytops.jpg” active=”active”][/slide] [slide title=”” image=”https://news.rhr.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/47/2016/05/SusanHammett_maytops.jpg”][/slide] [slide title=”” image=”https://news.rhr.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/47/2016/05/TMG_maytops.jpg”][/slide] [slide title=”” image=”https://news.rhr.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/47/2016/05/HAG_maytops.jpg”][/slide] [/slider]

We feature some of our top agents and listings each month in the luxurious print edition of TOPSinLexington.  However it was fabulous to celebrate even more of our agents in this month’s issue!

Leading the pack of TOPSinLex Series called “Real Estate Rock Stars,” was our very own Mateyoke Group!  Jenny Mateyoke & Heather Kuykendoll are consistent Top Producers – not only for Rector Hayden but also as part of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS.

“The real estate market is really booming in Central Kentucky.  Buyers need to be ready to act quickly and be prepared by getting pre-approved for a mortgage!” – Jenny M.

“Jenny & Heather were great.  We enjoyed working with them every step of the way on selling our home and buying our new home.  We would highly recommend them.  They were very professional and knowledgeable.  You can’t ask for a better team!!” – Kristie & Breck, recent clients.

We’re also very proud of a newer agent with our company, Susan Saunier Hammett, and her featurette in this series as well!  Susan works as part of The Jubilee Team at Rector Hayden, another top producing group.

“Rector Hayden is a great company to work with and their office support staff is absolutely the best!” – Susan H.

Aw, shucks, Susan.  We think you’re pretty awesome, too!!

And guess who else showed up to the party this month – our fantastic auction team – THE HALFHILL AUCTION GROUP.  The Halfhills + John Sanders + Gary Denton (two more fine agents with our company) worked to help bring in donations for the Living Arts & Sciences Center at their event “H’Artful of Fun.”  You can see more photos of that event on the TOPS website by clicking the image below!

Halfhill Auction Group Helps Bring in over $3k for American Diabetes Association

[thumbnail target=”_self” alt=”Halfhills, John Sanders, and RHRelocation Services Team together to bring in $3k+ donations for American Diabetes Association” src=”https://news.rhr.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/47/2016/05/3160-1.jpg”]

What a great day to be a Rector Hayden REALTOR®!

Thanks to the enthusiastic assistance from our beloved Halfhill Auction Groupwe brought in $3,160 for the American Diabetes Association.  This puts us jsut about halfway to our goal of $7650!! It is one of our core values as a company and a family to support our community as much as possible.  Our agents serve in over 100 different civic and philanthropic roles throughout the area, and we are proud to help support them.

When asked if anyone in the audience knew a family member or friend with Diabetes, nearly every person in attendance raised their hands.  According to the ADA 1.4 million Americans are diagnosed with Diabetes each year.  Our donations will go to funding innovative research and education.

Thanks to the initiative put forth by John Sanders, an agent with our company, we’ve been steadily collecting donations leading up to the June 4th Step Out Walk and 5k presented by the American Diabetes Association at Keeneland.  We invite all family and friends and members of the community to come out and walk or run with us to support this great cause.

If you’d like to sign up and be a part of our team, or just make a donation to support ADA – you can click this link: http://main.diabetes.org/goto/teamrectorhayden
