LexPhil opens the second half of the 2017/18 Season with Shostakovich’s ground-breaking Symphony No. 7 in Revolution! Dedicated to the city of Leningrad, this work has remained a symbol of resistance against totalitarianism and militarism in both the Soviet Union and the West.
Valentine’s Dinner at Woodford Reserve

Lexington Ballet – My Fair Lady
This classic story of My Fair Lady is based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion and immortalized on Broadway and in film. The tale of Professor Higgins and his wager to transform a poor flower girl into a proper lady is a delightful romance for a Valentine’s weekend celebration.

Walk for Warmth – End Homelessness
Help end homelessness in Lexington. Join us in this two-mile walk-a-thon through downtown Lexington in support of our Homeless Intervention Program. This program provides the first month’s rent for individuals and families who are homeless, along with housing counseling, help creating a household budget, and ongoing case management. Your fund-raising efforts will ensure we can provide housing for more homeless neighbors this year!
