Extreme Mustang Makeover

An exciting evening of freestyle competition and adoption! All events throughout the weekend are FREE except for the finals performance where tickets can be purchased on-site.

 

Adult trainers, ages 18 and over, will compete in this 100-wild horse training competition with their assigned mustang in a series of preliminary classes for a spot in the Top-10 freestyle finals performance. All adult mustangs will be available for adoption after the finals performance via public competitive bid. Representatives from the Bureau of Land Management Wild Horse & Burro Program will be on site to approve interested adopters.

7th Annual CAA Carriage Festival

From the Carriage Festival Website: The Carriage Festival offers spectators the opportunity to see restored historic carriages driven in competition as they would have been at the turn of the century.  Competitors come from around the country to compete with everything from small pony carts to huge road coaches driven by teams of four horses.  A wide variety of beautiful turnouts compete over the three day event in the hopes of taking home championship awards.

The Lexington Rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) and produced by the Rotary Club of Lexington. It is the only PRCA rodeo in Kentucky and was voted the Best New Rodeo of 2015 by the PRCA cowboys GLC. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Silverama Arabian Championship Horse Show

Silverama Arabian Championship

This 5-day Arabian horse show event is comprised of a youth show and the championship for the 14th Region of the Arabian Horse Show Association. The 14th region includes Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Contry Heir | Hunter Jumper Show

This event is a 5-day hunter/jumper show, and is the first part of a 2-part show series conducted by Country Heir. This is a USEF-sanctioned event.

The headlining classes include the $10,000 Welcome Prix, $50,000 George Hennessy Grand Prix, $8,000 Low Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Classic, and the $10,000 Children’s/Adult Jumper Grand Prix.
