1:00pm-5:00pm: Book reading and reception by Terry Foody on “The Pie Seller, The Drunk, and the Lady: Heros of the 1833 Cholera Epidemic in Lexington, Kentucky” Complimentary light refreshments and snacks provided (Museum)

SUNDAY 9/11:
Doors open at 4:00pm: Annual Gospel Fest (Theatre)

Chevy Chase Street Fair

At the 800 block of Euclid Avenue – come over to one of Lexington’s most beloved neighborhood street fairs!

Be sure to come to the street fair hungry. Joella’s Hot Chicken, BnT, Kroger, McAllister’s Deli, Donut Days, Graeter’s Ice Cream and Double H BBQ will all be on the street ready to serve up some tasty food. There are also lots of other great places to eat in the neighborhood.

LEX DIY 2016

LEX DIY is a free “how-to” event open to the community. Representatives from local businesses and organizations will be available to teach participants different skills every half hour. Topics include pairing wine with cheeses, making balloon animals, using a French press, studying your own genealogy, and much more! Booths will be set up around the Sullivan University/Spencerian College campus located at 2355 Harrodsburg Rd in Lexington. Visit one, or visit eight, the choice is up to you!
