Kentucky Crafted Tour

Kentucky’s craft bourbon distillery scene has boomed over the last decade. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour currently has 14 members. There are also many other craft distilleries operating or on the way. Join Stone Fences Tours in celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of those breaking into the art/science of the process of creating America’s native spirit. On our Kentucky Crafted tour, we will visit three of our favorite craft distilleries from the list below.

  • Three Boys’ Farm Distillery
Pickup and drop off will be at the Lexington’s Visitors’ Center. The tour is approximately 6 hours. Water and snacks are provided.
Price $80 (Includes tours and tastings at all 3 locations and lunch)

 

 

Behind the Fences Tour

On this tour we will learn about the history of horse racing and the horse industry in Lexington. Saddle up as we start our historic journey at Keeneland for a tour during the early morning workouts. We will then visit one of the beautiful historic horse farms around Lexington. We will also make stops at the Red Mile and the Isaac Murphy Memorial Art Garden. We will learn the history of these historic racing venues along with the first superstars of horse racing, African American jockeys.

The tour will last approximately 4 hours and we will pick you up at the Lexington Visitor Center.

Price $45 (Includes tours at Keeneland and a historic horse farm).

Water and snacks will be provided.

 

 

2017 Kenwick Bungalow Tour

The Kenwick Neighborhood Association presents the 2017 Kenwick Bungalow Tour on Sunday, June 4th, 1-5 p.m. The tour is a perfect illustration of this near-downtown neighborhood that blends traditional and modernized homes and gardens, and the diverse blend of Lexingtonians who call it home. We will have 8 homes on the tour within the Kenwick neighborhood.

Garden Tour

Whether you are a gardener, a homeowner seeking new ideas or just enjoy beauty and tranquility, come out and visit some of Lexington’s most inspiring gardens. Rain or shine. Tickets may be purchased at King’s Garden Center,Michler’s, Best of Flowers, Springhouse Gardens and at the gardens on the day of the tour. 

Proceeds from the tour go to grants for beautification projects across the city!

Tea Tuesday at Waveland

Tea is served in the mansion on fine china. All tea’s include a program, savory food and is served by period dress interpreters. Once finished with the tea, enjoy a tour of the Waveland Mansion.
