Who’s hungry? An epic festival of food and live music right here in good ol’ Lexington, Kentucky. Seriously, y’all; it’s epic. There are over 50 food restaurants, chefs, food trucks, craft beer & cocktails, kids stuff, a car show and a dozen bands performing over two days.

Woodland Art Fair 2019

Shop over 200 artists, enjoy live music, Kentucky food, beer gardens, and create your own family art – all with free admission. Woodland Art Fair has received several national, regional & local honors including being voted a Top 200 Fine Art & Design Show in the nation in 2007-2012 by Sunshine Artist Magazine, a Top 20 Event by The Southeast Tourism Society & a Top 10 Festival by The Kentucky Travel Industry Association. Brought to you by WestBanco and co-produced by the Lexington Art League and Lexington Parks and Recreation.

Railbird Festival

A Railbird is a horse racing enthusiast known for sticking close to the action, hanging on the rail as each contender comes barreling down the track.

This summer, the term will take on added meaning with a brand new music festival in Lexington, KY. 2 days. Multiple stages. World class artists. All at the historic grounds of Keeneland.

Railbird will celebrate the unrivaled culture and traditions of the Bluegrass State at the historic Keeneland Racecourse. A Kentucky experience, through and through, Railbird will be a truly one-of-a-kind event. The festival will be woven into the course grounds to create an unforgettable and immersive weekend centered around music, bourbon, equine culture and Lexington tradition.


Chamber Music Festival

The Chamber Music Festival of Lexington is a unique week-long festival set among the beautiful Lexington area. Please join for a series of spectacular concerts, fun-filled pop-up events and an exciting Cabaret Night!


Thursday Night Live

Get downtown every Thursday! Join thousands of your closest friends for live music, local food and beverage vendors, and the hottest party in town. The event takes place each week at the Fifth Third Bank Pavilion at Cheapside Park. This event is rain or shine!


 

Kentucky Crafted Tour

Kentucky’s craft bourbon distillery scene has boomed over the last decade. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour currently has 14 members. There are also many other craft distilleries operating or on the way. Join Stone Fences Tours in celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of those breaking into the art/science of the process of creating America’s native spirit. On our Kentucky Crafted tour, we will visit three of our favorite craft distilleries from the list below.
  • Hartfield & Co.
  • Glenns Creek Distilling
  • Barrel House Distilling Co.
  • Bluegrass Distillers
  • Three Boys’ Farm Distillery
Pickup and drop off will be at the Lexington’s Visitors’ Center. The tour is approximately 6 hours. Water and snacks are provided.
Price $80 (Includes tours and tastings at all 3 locations and lunch)

 

 

Lexington’s Bluegrass BBQ Festival

The region’s top barbecue pitmasters will head to downtown Lexington – and everyone will eat – at the inaugural Big Ass® Bluegrass BBQ FEST and hosted by Smiley Pete Publishing.

The festival will also feature a variety of beer and bourbon along with live blues and bluegrass musical performances.

Annual Lighting of the Trace

Come out to the gardens of Buffalo Trace for their annual Lighting of the Trace. While you are there you can visit the George T. Stagg Gallery featuring historic photos and bourbon artifacts and listen to the Kentucky State University Choir . And, of course, the Gift Shop!

Arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a candlelight tour of the distillery.

Santa will arrive at 6:30 p. m. Santa will stop by the Visitor Center on December 9, 10, 16,17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in case you don’t get a chance to tell him what you want on December 1!

Disturbia at the Distillery

It’s a night of dinner, drams and drama!  The night starts with the popular Ghost Tour, followed by dinner, award-winning spirits pairings and drama from Bluegrass Mystery Theatre!  Costumes encouraged, prizes given!

The Bourbon Chase

An overnight relay adventure.  Teams of runners cover 200 miles of scenic byways along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail starting Friday, and finishing in downtown Lexington with a huge street party. Come on down Saturday afternoon and watch the runners come in.
